yes merino was established in late 2025 to make it easier to find merino wool clothing for all the family in the United Kingdom. We bring some new, beautiful, established merino wool brands to the U.K. to share the comfort and sustainable benefits of merino wool, loved in many places around the world. 

The brands we stock are all small, family-run businesses with a range of certifications. All have a strong connection to New Zealand, where merino wool is part of everyday culture - babies are gifted it, kids thrash it and adults rely on it throughout the year. It's really important to us all that the sheep are happy, the supply-chain understood and everyone involved paid and treated fairly so having various certifications and commitments from our brands is key to our values and success. 

Julia founded yes merino in South London between school runs. She grew up in rural New Zealand with pet lambs and games of hide-and-seek beneath the racks of her parents’ third-generation clothing store. The clothing and textile science degree she did many moons ago embedded her love of merino wool - she even graduated in a 100% merino wool dress! Coming to the U.K in 2012, Julia realised merino wool was not everywhere, as it was at home. Having her son solidified the decision to share her love and appreciation for this natural wonder fibre and yes merino came soon after.

P.S Yep, we've used a bit of artificial intelligence to make things look a bit snazzier while we get things going. It also protects babies and children. It's a great stopgap that helps get us to a place where we can support creative talent.
